What many try to ignore is that the road trip itself isn’t to blame for any of these negative situations. RVers who tend to use the RV road trip as an excuse for health problems, weight gain or dieting failures should consider what it is about their habits on the road that are creating negative effects. For most the answer is in their snacking.

Most RVers find themselves avoiding cooking during the summer months, but since one of the advantages of traveling by RV is the opportunity to prepare home cooked meals this temptation should not necessarily be indulged. Most RVers will find that they regret their own refusal to prepare meals in the RV almost immediately. The fact of the matter is that California has something to offer every RVer: sumptuous spas, celebrity sightings, beautiful natural vistas, culinary tours, wine-country, beaches, exceptional dining, historic sights, hiking, Hollywood, the Redwoods, Surfing, Skiing, various amusement parks and recreational centers, many National Parks and much more. The list of attractions available in the state of California could go on almost endlessly.

Everyone has a Bucket List. It might be mental. It might only have a few things on it. It might even be completely forgotten for long periods of time. It doesn’t matter. The vast majority of individuals have things they someday want to do or see and when it comes right down to it, that’s all a Bucket List is. Some aren’t aware of the fact that the RV lifestyle is completely indicative of all things Bucket List related. Many RVers were actually led to the RVing life by their own personal Bucket List. It’s the Lone Star State. Some know it for its rolling grassland dotted with Longhorns. Others envision hill country covered in grass, creeks, oak trees and Bluebonnets.
